The client is a well known name in the toy industry with a range of development toys for infants. The brief was to design a set of noise, texture, grasp and teether toys that could be incorporated into a soft toy based on Babar, The King of the Elephants character by Jean de Brunhoff. The character was associated with many items that could be used and a meeting with the client shortly developed four items that could be incorporated. The clients team took some of the items to develop except for the design of the rattle, pocket watch and key which were developed to 2D drawings for open and shut injection moulding components.
