The client is an award winning designer and manufacturer of UHF radio systems. The brief was to design a stylish, modular and interconnecting desk stand for the extensive range of Personal Pagers supplied by the client. The first stage was a dimensional audit on each Pager in the range and identification of external features like belt clips and lanyard attachment points. The design was developed using sketches and CAD and rapid prototypes. The mould tool was manufactured from CAD data and control drawings.
