Tangram is a derivative of a centuries old Chinese puzzle based on triangles. The modern version has twice as many pieces and both sides are coloured. The fourteen pieces can be used to create thousands of two dimensional shapes. The task was to develop the concept to injection moulded parts using straightforward open and shut injection moulding tooling in such a way that all the parts could be assembled and coloured correctly. The components were finalised and CAD data issued.
