The client was an entrepreneur who had envisaged using the wheels of busses, coaches and taxis for paid advertising. The brief was to design and prototype a range of Wheel Trims for London Black Cabs and the Volvo BM10 Coach wheel commonly used by many coach operators at that time. The design was to be unique in that the centre of the wheel trim would be on a bearing and counter weighted so it would not rotate. The project involved an extensive feasibilty study prior to concept design and prototype testing.
