The client was a manufacturer of point of sale displays. They held a patent for a scrollable number display and were already manufacturing and selling several sizes of the display module. The brief was to design carriers for the small and large display modules. The carriers were required to be manufactured within tight costs and incorporate snap fit assembly.

The initial task was to prepare a sketchbook of concepts. A preferred concept was quickly defined and this was developed by CAD in 3D. The components and assemblies were finalised and manufacturing drawings for each component and schematics were prepared on CAD. A small prototype batch was evaluated before production.
