The client is a world brand name for photographic media. The brief was to develop and produstionise a 35mm film product specifier. The client had commissioned a graphic design agency to prepare visuals on which the design was to be based. The brief was to develop and prototype a battery powered electronic film selector to be situated on counter tops or alongside displays of 35mm film.

The client gave advise about the ideal film selection process and their range of films. This was converted into a specification for an electronics enginner to prepare a PCB and software which would run with minimal power consumption with illuminated buttons and film highlight panels. The design was developed to a fully working prototype.
