The client is one of the world largest manufacturers of safety, control and regulation equipment for gas. The brief was to design and prototype a mounting bracket for a differentiual air switch commonly used in gas appliance with fan forced combustion.

The client requested that the part be designed as a simple open and shut injection moulding part to ensure long term reliability of the tooling. The prototypes were made using natural, vacuum cast polyurethane resin in silicone tooling from stereolithography masters. The components were finalised and CAD data issued.
