The client is a specialist in pest control. The brief was to design a low cost, mass manufactured, user assembled bird repelling device for mounting onto ledges and sills frequented by feral pigeons. The resulting design snap fitted together to create a complex wall of spikes and could be nailed, bonded or screwed to surfaces as a single or double tier wall. The component design was issued as CAD data with an accompanying 2D control drawing.
