The client is an award winning designer and manufacturer of UHF radio systems. The brief was to liaise with the clients RF Engineers to design a heat sink and RF shielding enclosure for a high power amplifier. The design was developed on CAD for gravity die casting and secondary machining. The mould tools were manufactured from CAD data and control drawings. The product has been in production for several years and the tooling has recently been modified to suit a new PCB.
