The client was an entrepreneur with an idea for a floating solar powered Swimming Pool Monitor. The brief was to liaise with a manufacturer who was developing the chemical and thermal sensors in order to develop the product for injection moulding. The product had to be fully immersible and cope with extreme temperature and pressure variations whilst being robust enough to survive abuse in and around the pool area. Once the overall BOM and schematic of the product was agreed a series of CAD generated concepts were prepared. The preferred concept was finalised and CAD data issued.
