The client is a well known name in the toy industry. The original game was in need of a facelift but the tooling budget would be limited. The existing injection moulding tooling was open and shut. The brief was to facelift the game by creating the fewest number of new parts and adapting existing tooling where possible. After meeting with the client it was decided that the tree base, canopy ring and nest could be adapted to look like foliage and the nest support branches could be redesigned and retooled. The design was developed to a full working prototype which was used as a copy master.
